FAQ's -General & Booking

General FAQ

How can I make an enquiry via email?
The first thing we want to know is which activity you would like to do, the date and the number of people interested. In the case of sand boarding we need to know your boot size and for surfing and mountain biking your height.

What personal details are required to make a booking?
We have to know your full name, telephone number and if possible the name of your accommodation.

Do I need a credit card to make an enquiry via email?
Yes, if you want to confirm a booking via email you need a Visa or MasterCard. We need to know the card number, expiry date and the security number (three numbers on the back of your card).

What happens in the event of bad weather?
Our activities all take place outdoors and therefore, are subjected to local weather conditions. In the event of a trip coming back early due to the weather we will offer a 50% refund. In the event of a trip being cancelled on the day (i.e not leaving at all) we will try to reschedule. If this is not possible, we would offer a 100% refund

What if I want to cancel a trip?
Bookings cancelled between 28 days and 14 days from the tour departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled less than 14 days before the departure date will incur the full charge of the tour.
If you only booked a few days before, we need at least 24 hours notice, otherwise no refund will be offered.

What are the opening times of your office?
Monday till Friday from 8:00 till 18:00 and on Saturday from 8:30 till 13:00. On Sunday we are be closed.

What is the minimum number of people required for a trip?
We will take single people out on some of our trips, though this is a rarity. We don’t offer it on our half day trips except for the Table Mountain Double Descent mountain biking. For most trips, our minimum number is 2, but if you are a lone traveler, we can nearly always find others to accompany you. Most of our trips are run on a daily basis.
