Downhill Adventures, established in 1995, has been operating exciting outdoor adventure activities throughout the Cape peninsular for over a decade now.

We will facilitate all the activities, provide all required equipment and our experienced, qualified guides will make sure the whole
day runs smoothly. We can also take care of transportation and catering, as well as adventure filming, stand-by medics, event team colours etc.

THE LOCATION
Situated just 30 minutes from Central Cape Town, Big Bay offers picture postcard views of the City, Table Mountain & Robben Island and some of the best coastline to found in the Western Cape. Big Bay is frequented by Downhill Adventures due to its safe and clean waters, the great choice of waves to suit all levels of ability when surfing, and great facilities such as the new life guard centre, parking and nearby restaurants.

THE ACTIVITIES
For this event, we thought we'd divide the group up into 6 teams of ten, who would compete against through out the day, in a fun but challenging environment. The teams would each get the opportunity to enjoy a surfing lesson, or we could make some fun challenges such as time trial and would also compete against each other in the following activities:

1) Surfing Challenge

2) Beach Soccer or Touch Rugby (either or)

3) Beach Volleyball

4) Croc Canoe 'White Water' Challenge.

WHAT DOWNHILL ADVENTURES WILL PROVIDE
DHA will put this whole Table Mountain experience together, facilitating all activities, ensuring maximum safety and enjoyment for the teams throughout the course of the day.

DHA will provide:

*Experienced qualified guides at each activity.
*Level 1-3 trained First aiders
*All equipment and safety gear
*An event organiser and presenter to brief the teams, detail the day’s proceedings, motivate the contestants, and make sure that the whole day is a phenomenal success.
*Ground handling staff to take care of all operational details
*Fabulous locations for all activities and final meeting place

*Videographers to record the whole amazing experience, producing an edited professional DVD of the whole days activities. Our expert camera men use cutting edge technology, helmet and flexi mounted cameras to capture the action as it occurs.
