OPTION 1 – BLOUKRANS BRIDGE
(2 day)

Day 1
We pick you up from your central accommodation in Cape Town at about 06h00. You are then transferred along the beautiful Garden Route and wave goodbye to Cape Town as you head over Sir Lowrys Pass. After about 350 km we then stop off at the Gouritz Bridge(65 meters) where you can do a warm up bungy jump or even a massive bridge swing (can be done tandem as well) just too wet the appetite.

We then continue onwards to the infamous Bloukrans Bridge where we will check into the backpacker accommodation or suitable alternative accommodation. Then it is time to suck it in as you will prepare yourself for the world’s highest commercial bridge bungy jump at 216 meters.

You will proceed to walk along the 216 meter specially designed catwalk, which is suspended beneath the road surface, which will lead you to the launch site at the top of the arch that stands at an enormous 216m. The walk alone can be absolutely terrifying to some!

You also have the option to get to the launch site by way of the Flying Fox. A 200m zip line/cable slide(foofie slide to South Africans).
The adrenalin in your veins will now be flowing. Then it is time for that all important leap of faith:

5, 4, 3, 2, 1, BUNGEEEEE!!!!

After this death defying feat you will be winched back up to the bridge and then led back to the edge of the canyon. WOW what an experience! Time to rest and recall the day’s events with fellow Bungy Shuttle compatriots around a good old South African braai(barbecue) that the Bungy Bus rep has started for dinner. Chops and boerewors rolls will be served with salads while you sip on that cold beer, cider or soft drink.

Overnight at the backpackers

Day 2
Early morning wake-up call. We all climb back into the Bungy Bus and make our way back down the beautiful Garden Route towards Cape Town. You will then be dropped off at your accommodation in central Cape Town.

OPTION 2 GOURITZ BRIDGE
(1 day)

We pick you up from your central accommodation in Cape Town at about 06h00. You are then transferred along the beautiful Garden Route and wave goodbye to Cape Town as you head over Sir Lowrys Pass.
After about 350 km we then stop off at the Gouritz Bridge(65 meters). Time to build up the courage to take that giant leap of faith. You have a choice of either the bungy jump or the bridge swing. Before you know it you will be plummeting towards the Gouritz River only to have the bungy rope or bridge swing rope stop you. Afterwards you will have the option to do another if you wish and are brave enough.
After everyone has had an overdose of adrenalin we get back into the Bungy Bus and head back for Cape Town. You will then be dropped off at your central Cape Town accommodation.

OPTION 3: The Great Shark-Jump Combo (1 Day)

We pick you up from your central accommodation in Cape Town at about 06h00. You are then transferred along the beautiful Garden Route and wave goodbye to Cape Town as you head over Sir Lowrys Pass. We then arrive in Gansbaai, home of the infamous Great White Shark. Time to go face to face with one of the ocean’s most notorious creatures!
After a light breakfast you will head out on the shark boat for your shark cage diving adventure. On return to harbour you will watch an exciting DVD of your day with an option to purchase it. You then climb onto the Bungy Shuttle and we head further up the Garden Route to the Gouritz Bridge.
Hopefully your nerves have settled after your Great White Shark confrontation as now you are required to defy the laws of gravity. You can either do a bungy jump or be a giant pendulum while doing a bridge swing. The choice is yours. After completion of your bungy jump or bridge swing we climb back onto the Bungy Bus and head back towards Cape Town. You will then be dropped off at your central Cape Town accommodation. Wow what an insane day!!
