Winter in Cape Town is cold and wet, but luckily that doesn’t mean you need to cut back on the adventure activities. There’s no reason to be deterred by the cold, wind, or even the rain. There are plenty of cool adventure to-do’s that are not weather-dependent.
Sandboarding
Our epic sandboarding activities take place on the Atlantis Dunes on the West Coast, a mere 30-minute drive from the City Centre. What’s interesting is that the weather is often very different on the West Coast to what it is in the city. Either way, sandboarding doesn’t mind a spot of wind or rain, and it’s definitely not bothered by the cold.
Sandboarding is fast, sometime furious, and always a lot of fun.
Join us for sandboarding, or take it up a notch and make that a sandboarding and quad biking combo.
Table Mountain Double Descent
Mountain biking is massive in the Mother City. With some world-class routes and majestic views, who can blame us really? What’s even better about mountain biking is that it can be done in cold weather and in the rain. In fact, the rain and the mud simply magnify the adventure element. If rough and dirty is the way you like it, then mountain biking in the rain is definitely for you.
